The master of one discipline shall become the pupil in another. Michael Walchhofer interprets this old Chinese saying in his own way: In winter the Atomic king of downhill will shoot for WCH gold once again and for a top season to say goodbye. And he already has the next goal for 2012 in his sights: Michael Walchhofer adds another task to those of father of a family, entrepreneur and World Cup star, an MBA at the KMU-Academy (SMB academy).  

Studying and training can be motivating

„Not only the subject is interesting, it’s interesting that studying clears the head for training“, says Michael Walchhofer who has already successfully taken his first exams. He says that after the last season in which a lot of things haven’t gone his way, he needed time to start over in training: „But I reached that point and trained all the more intense – studying for exams was a good contrast to that.“ And now he’s looking forward to snow again: „The fitness is good: But the best gym for a skier is still the slopes...“
